Online bookings
Medal booking went online and the world didn't combust, who would have thought it?! Ok, so we've eased ourselves into it and have only gone with the Wednesday Medals. However, one week on and I haven't had one person say that they have had an issue with the new system.
I do understand why some members may be against it, but I'm glad to see that the first Medal going 'live' didn't encounter any problems and the only feedback that I've had has been positive. Long may the positivity continue…

Ladies Coaching
We are half way through our ladies coaching block and it's great to see so many of our female members looking to improve. We have managed to fill our first block of classes and there are more dates and times to be confirmed for those that couldn't make the Tuesday morning time.
We are also looking at starting up a beginner class for ladies so if you know anyone that might be interested, please tell them to get in touch.

Course Update
Many of you that played on Saturday (and the rest of the weekend) commented on how firm and fiery the greens were. You'll be glad to know that the irrigation system has been re-commissioned after the winter shut down and we are getting water back on to the putting surfaces.
In terms of maintenance work, the greens are all prepped and ready for a bout of heat (hopefully!). Some water and heat will see growth in the greens, allowing for more receptive, smoother surfaces.
I follow lots of other local courses on social media and they are all going through similar maintenance programmes and I can assure you, we are not the only ones praying for more heat!
