Earn yourself some money

It's always nice to get something for our old bits and bobs. Take your car for example, with many people now taking the opportunity to get money off a new car by part-exchanging their old car as part of the deal.

New Crested Accessories

We have recently taken delivery of our newly crested pitchforks and ball markers. These are great quality and essential items for out on the golf course.

With the season here it is important to make sure we look after the course, with these new accessories you can do so and represent the club at the same time!

What a Difference

I had a member in the studio for an iron fitting last week and the 45-minute process we went through was incredible. As we worked through some shafts and heads, the difference in weight from his 20-year-old irons was staggering.

He found that he was now able to swing the golf club and not have the golf club swing him! By moving onto a modern head and a graphite shaft, his clubhead speed increased significantly and he found an extra 20 yards on his 7-iron! Not only was it going further, but it was going a lot straighter as well. By choosing Mizuno, he also didn’t need to pay extra for graphite as they do not charge extra for this option.

We have demo equipment available to try for FREE from Callaway, Mizuno and Wilson Staff. If you feel that you could do with something lighter and more modern, then get in touch with us and we can get you on the road to enjoying your golf more.

Pro's news

Pro's Day

It’s only a few days until Pro’s Day and it looks like being my biggest field yet with a fantastic 162 names on the sheet currently. I’m desperately hoping for good weather and that everyone involved has a great day. If you are looking for a time then there are still a few left, but not many!

Entry is £10 and the format is Fourball Better Ball. Contact me in the shop or click here to book a time!

We have our Final’s Day at the club on Sunday and it would be great to see as many members as possible out supporting the 4 Finals. At the time writing this, there are still a couple of rounds to be played, but the details of the 4 Finals will be posted on the club Facebook page on Saturday.

Find the short stuff
